[She knocks a few minutes later - she has the meds in her pocket. She's really worried about him which is an uncomfortable feeling, because Daphne is not often worried about anyone, especially not someone who she doesn't know very well. But for some reason, she feels protective of him.

She leans against his door, though, like this is no big deal.]

[a slight pause before stiles answers the door. since the last time he spoke to her it's been back to one or two hours of sleep a night and he's clearly showing the strain. eyes bruised and skin wan.

he gives her a weak smile though and steps aside to let her in. his room is surprisingly immaculate for a teenage boy. not a single item out of place.]

Hey.

[chuffle]

[He smells like exhaustion, she thinks. She smiles gently when she sees him, though, and pulls a bottle of - something - out of her back pocket. The pills rattle about.]

I can't actually tell you what it is, but the doc says take two a day, 12 hours apart.

[stiles tries not to grab at the bottle too quickly, but his hands shake a little as he works the cap off and taps two pills into his palm.

he dry swallows both of them with ease.]

As long as it works and doesn't make me, like, grow extra limbs, I don't really care.

Okay, so, now that you've taken them, I need to tell you something.

[It's not really bad news.]

[stiles makes a face.]

Oh god. It's not actually going to make me grow extra limbs, is it?

[A pause.]

Derek asked me to keep an eye on you.

[stiles sighs and sits down on his bed, scrubbing a hand through his hair.]

And don't get me wrong, sugarplum, I'm going to.

[She leans against the door.]

[stiles blinks slowly in her direction, chewing on his lower lip.]

[She reaches out, ruffles his hair.]

Derek doesn't win many fights, that's not saying much.

[stiles closes his eyes and leans into her touch instinctively. he freezes up for a moment when he realizes what he's done, but his shoulders drop a second later and he just, lets himself enjoy it.]

[She doesn't actually remember if it was outside Derek's room or George's room, but either way, there was a werewolf living there.]

[stiles smiles softly.] The bunny teeth are pretty special though, aren't they?

[and then he feels the need to defend his home team, ever so slightly. though why he couldn't even begin to imagine.]

That's... not actually completely true? Derek's mom could shift into a full wolf. And I guess maybe his sister.

[he wrinkles his nose and pulls away to give her a mildly betrayed look at her admission.]
