[stiles closes his eyes and leans into her touch instinctively. he freezes up for a moment when he realizes what he's done, but his shoulders drop a second later and he just, lets himself enjoy it.]

Oh, I know how to deal with my own werewolves. That's not actually a problem. I know how to hurt them and fix them and stop them in their tracks. I have been there and I have done that and the t-shirt is not really worth the trip.

Most of them are idiots anyway and wouldn't be able to plan their way out of a paper bag. I mean you have not met pointless melodrama until you have met the "demon wolf". [stiles makes the appropriate finger quotes]

But sure, hit me with it. I mean, forewarned is forearmed, right? I'm always down for gathering a little intel.

[he huffs a soft laugh. it says something about the nogitsune experience that things like the alpha pack are actually funny to stiles now.]

No actual demons are involved. Basically it happens when an Alpha goes power hungry and kills all of his Betas. And winds up looking like the really ugly descendent of a werewolf and a bat.

[chuffle]

Well that sounds more reasonable than demon wolf anyway.

I don't know if I would say reasonable. Wyrm-tainted shifters are only good to die, really.

Besides, it doesn't make any sense to kill all your betas. The only reason that the wolves won the War of Rage were because of packs.

That. See, working together is what solves things. Haring off on your own and keeping secrets and being uncooperative... that's how things just wind up getting more shitty.
